What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Controller position at CapstoneONE Search?
We are representing an industry leading manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Corporate Controller This is a newly created position based on the continued growth/scale of the organization. Our client is a domestic leader in their space and pride themselves on an outstanding culture predicated on benefits, compensation, and employee satisfaction. The Director of Accounting will report to the CFO who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.
NOTE: This is an "in office" (5 day/week position)
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Candidate will report to the CFO and will be responsible for the consolidation of divisional results and forecasts.
- Responsible for leading department of 4 direct employees with ownership of divisional revenue across (5) subsidiary companies.
- Candidate will be responsible for working closely with Plant Sites (Controllers)
- Facilitate compliance (US GAAP) across the division.
- Responsible for leading divisional close process.
- Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business.
- Provide executive leadership with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures.
- Participate in projects and support CFO, VP/GM, and Operations Leadership.
POSTION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field is required (CPA or MBA considered plus)
- Experience leading month end close process
- Advanced Excel skills
- Candidate should be knowledge of world class internal controls to include US GAAP
Salary : $160,000 - $180,000
