A globally reputable multi-billion-dollar industrial manufacturing organization seeks to hire a Sales and Business Development Specialist due to their continued growth. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position will be responsible for servicing existing accounts/customers and developing new business opportunities. This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity based in Eastern Ohio.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Handle inbound and outbound sales activities, including prospecting, cold calling, quoting, and closing sales opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding pricing, order status, quality, scheduling, and shipping.
- Provide market intelligence by tracking pricing trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including plant personnel and outside sales representatives, to ensure customer satisfaction and order fulfillment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or a combination of relevant experience and education.
- Minimum of two years of experience in inside sales, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills with a "hunter and service" mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with strong attention to detail and math skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
