A leading Aerospace and Defense organization is seeking an accomplished Plant Operations Manager to lead their production and manufacturing teams. This critical role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, managing (4) direct reports in an 80-employee foundry environment. Key responsibilities include:
- **Strategic Leadership**: Direct Plant Production and Manufacturing Engineering functions
- **Process Improvement**: Establish and implement KPIs for plant performance
- **Problem-Solving**: Drive department process improvements and corrective actions
- **Performance Metrics**: Develop and track key measurables to support the department business plan goals
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical field preferred
- 2-5 years of Operations/Production/Engineering leadership experience required
- Strong background in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Continuous Improvement
- Metals/Foundry manufacturing experience preferred
