Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our crew at Captain Georges. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Your main duty will be taking food and drink orders, serving customers, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Duties:
- Greet guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus to customers and answer any questions regarding menu items
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
- Prepare bills and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the culinary or restaurant industry is preferred
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask
- Able to lift 10lbs
