Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and other surfaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Support the kitchen staff by bussing tables and ensuring that dining areas are tidy and well-maintained.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and protocols for proper food handling and sanitation.
- Help with inventory management by organizing clean dishes and kitchen supplies efficiently.
- Participate in regular cleaning duties such as deep cleaning of kitchen equipment and storage areas.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
