What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Manager position at Captain’s Sports Lounge?
- Is the General Managers right hand
- Supervises shifts with direction of the General Manager, with or without their presence
- Delegates tasks to staff
- Handles disciplinary action of staff with the direction of the General Manager, excluding termination
- Helps keep labor with in set standards
- Complete kitchen inventory and orders
- Ensure kitchen scheduling is appropriate and all shifts are properly staffed
- Helps to collect and organizes invoices and daily summaries for the week to be picked up
- Helps handling making sure store is prepared before and makes any needed changes after health inspection
- Executes discounts, and manages POS system and issues that arise with it.
- Takes pride in their store, does walkthroughs anytime in the building to insure all lights are on, things are correctly placed, cleanliness has been prioritized, staff is dressed in uniform and looks appropriate for work, etc.
- Attends weekly meeting with G.M
- Coach team members while working alongside.
