WHO are we looking for?

CAPTRUST seeks a dynamic Senior Sales Enablement Associate plays a critical role in supporting advisors and driving the firm’s sales effectiveness. This individual will serve as a key resource for sales pitch support and content navigation, ensuring that advisors are equipped with the right tools, materials, and internal expertise to effectively engage prospects and clients. Working closely with advisors, the proposal team, strategic content, business line leaders, and subject matter experts (SMEs), this role focuses on curating the right sales and client-facing collateral, consulting on opportunities, and supporting the adoption of sales enablement tools like Seismic.

Responsibilities

Primary Focus: Sales Pitch and Proposal Team Support (Approx. 80%)

  • Serve as a primary resource for advisors preparing for prospect meetings and sales opportunities
  • Consult with advisors to understand the specific needs and nuances of each sales opportunity
  • Curate and direct advisors to the most relevant sales and marketing materials, ensuring alignment with client needs and firm positioning
  • Connect advisors with internal experts and resources to strengthen and tailor pitch efforts

Additional Responsibilities And Projects

  • Develop and maintain training materials and guides, including videos, to educate and enable advisors on best practices for using Seismic and other sales enablement tools
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and compliance teams to create and update sales materials, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment
  • Support adoption of sales methodologies, new technologies, and enablement strategies that improve sales efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assist with analysis of won opportunities to identify and share best practices related to proposals, presentations, and client engagement

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in sales enablement, sales support, marketing, or client service, ideally within a professional services or financial services environment

Desired Qualifications/Skills

  • Experience with Seismic (or similar sales enablement platform); experience with Dynamics CRM or other CRM tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with sales enablement best practices, content management, and advisor support
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple, time-sensitive requests
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; ability to create and work with presentations and content packages
  • Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Prior experience in financial services or related industries preferred
