Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role will serve as both a technical expert and a team leader, driving the establishment of Caraway’s first engineering pod. Working closely with the cross-functional Digital Product team, the Lead Engineer will be instrumental in delivering a best-in-class e-commerce experience.This position involves ensuring scalable and high-performance technical solutions, overseeing the execution of core experience initiatives, and participating in all phases of development, including strategy, coding, testing, and sprint planning. The Lead Engineer will also mentor and guide team members, conduct performance reviews, and provide professional development opportunities.Who You Are : The ideal candidate is an experienced developer with a passion for creating exceptional e-commerce experiences.
