Fellowship Program Details
Shift Requirements: 40h/week M-F
Fellow Compensation: $60/hr
Program Length: 6 months

What You'll Learn
Comprehensive Care: Deliver thorough primary care, including physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment, with a focus on preventive care and chronic disease management
Quality and Outcomes: Apply a strong understanding of HEDIS metrics to close care gaps and improve patient outcomes. Utilize diagnostic tests effectively to guide clinical decisions
Collaborative Management: Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and holistic, patient-centered care
Procedures: Perform routine and specialized procedures, including women’s health services (e.g., pap smears, Nexplanon removals), skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and joint injections, ensuring safety and patient comfort
Chronic and Acute Care: Manage chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension using evidence-based guidelines. Address acute care needs efficiently, maintaining a steady patient flow
Patient Education: Provide counseling on lifestyle changes, mental health, and medication management to enhance patient adherence and outcomes
Research engagement: Gain experience with clinical research by learning and actively participating in clinical research studies as a sub-investigator
