We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support project management activities across various construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within scope. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and maintain project documentation. Duties
- Supports Project Manages (PM) and Assistant Project Managers (APM) with field-related tasks.
- Represents the Program Management team at pre-construction walks, substantial completion walks, and warranty walks, and provides updates to the PM/APM.
- Manages the warranty process and follow-up with general contractor and third-party vendors such as Test & Balance and Commissioning. Maintains the warranty register for projects.
- Coordinates move management and furniture install.
- Coordinates phased walks with the GC and campus personnel, prior to an area being turned over to the end-user.
- Assists PM/APM with verifying percent of work complete with the General Contractor’s monthly and 3-week look ahead schedules.
- Assists PM/APM is resolving field issues related to phasing, occupancy, and City requests.
- Participates in weekly construction meetings and other meetings as needed.
- Performs spot checks of the contractor’s work and verifies against construction documents.
