Transactions Counsel (New York, NY): A leading private equity firm is seeking an experienced M&A attorney to oversee a broad range of investment transactions. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a highly visible and strategic role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute complex private equity transactions, including venture capital, private/public financings, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Provide legal oversight and risk management for portfolio companies across various industries.
- Offer strategic legal and business counsel on investment structures, regulatory compliance, and transaction execution.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless deal execution and compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school with 10 years of transactional law experience.
- Strong background in private equity, M&A, and regulatory compliance.
- Individual must have extensive work experience in the biotech/biopharma/healthcare/med device area(s)
- Proven ability to lead complex transactions and work with senior executives.
- Major law firm and/or in-house experience preferred.
Location: New York, NY (in office 4 days/week)
Compensation: $300-500K base; $750K all-in
