The Position
As a Provider Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing provider schedules, coordinating hospital call assignments, and ensuring that all provider and non-provider templates are built accurately. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple scheduling priorities efficiently.
Your Day-to-Day Work
- Build, monitor, and adjust daily and weekly provider schedules.
- Act as the primary point of contact for provider schedule coordination.
- Assign and manage the annual hospital call schedule, ensuring timely updates and distribution.
- Process provider time-off requests and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Create provider and non-provider daily patient schedule templates.
- Assign and track all scheduling-related tasks, including hospital, office, and administrative duties.
- Collaborate with managers to schedule physician meetings and coordinate onboarding for new providers.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records in EPIC and Qgenda.
Environment and Shift Details
This is a full-time, onsite position within an office environment, typically operating Monday through Friday. This role requires frequent communication via phone and email and extensive computer work. After a 90-day in-office training period, there is an option to work remotely. Applicants outside Washington State will not be considered at this time.
Experience & Qualifications
Must-Haves
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of experience in medical office scheduling or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with databases and scheduling systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with EPIC and/or Qgenda.
- Familiarity with hospital call scheduling and provider coordination.

The pay scale for this position is $22.06 - $39.34, influenced by your experience, skill set, and education.
