Duties

- Monitor and document vital signs of patients, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Assist with tube feeding and other specialized care as needed, providing support for individuals with specific health requirements.
- Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide compassionate support to patients in home care or hospice settings, fostering a nurturing environment.
- Utilize electronic health record systems, such as Cerner, for accurate documentation of patient information and medication administration.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of tube feeding procedures and the ability to monitor vital signs effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Certification as a Medication Technician or similar qualification is a plus.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as Cerner, is advantageous.
