What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Manager position at Cardinal Credit Union?
The ideal candidate will manage and direct the information technology systems and services that contribute to the successful operation of the credit union, its employees, and ability to serve its members.
Develop strategies, plans, and prioritize goals of the department to provide efficient and effective technology systems to meet the short and long-term needs of the credit union. Reduce risk impact and have the ability to coordinate efforts if a crisis would arise.
Maintain self and department knowledge, skills, and abilities required for effective department performance. Provide ongoing analysis to develop strategies, make recommendations and implement short and long-term objectives to improve the credit union’s IT operations. Effectively manage the team in accomplishing departmental goals within the credit union’s culture, mission, and core values. Provide leadership that inspires and encourages staff to provide a high standard of delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field
- Symitar experience, network and banking experience highly recommended
