What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) *10k Sign on bonus eligible position at Cardinal Cushing Centers?
At the Cardinal Cushing Centers, we support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing possibilities and opportunities for growth and advancement. Our programs for students, adults and community members include education, employment training, transition services, residential care, therapeutic and recreational services.
The BCBA works in an integrated environment to provide data analysis, development of functional assessments and behavior plans for specific students (or classrooms) which positively reinforce the development of pro-social behavior in school and residential settings.
- Completes functional behavior assessment (FBA) and develops behavior plans as appropriate
- Works with instructional and residential staff, program directors and residential coordinators to provide training and oversight of behavior plans, including data collection and analysis
- Observes referred students in instructional and residential sites
- Provides appropriate intervention strategies for support staff and assists in implementation as necessary
- Attends staff meetings, I.E.P.’s, Progress Reviews, Collaborative Team Meetings, and Case Consultation Meetings as necessary
- Adheres to a flexible schedule to include residential and instructional settings
- Collects data and presents behavioral summaries for periodic medication reviews
- Intervenes physically in emergency situations using safety care techniques
- Upholds the mission and corporate values of Cardinal Cushing Centers
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned
Related Work Experience:
A minimum of two years experience with applied behavioral analysis and behavior modification techniques
Formal Education
Master’s degree in behavior analysis or related field
BCBA or LABA required, exam eligible applicants would be considered
Certifications: Receive initial certification and re-certification as appropriate in the following:
- First Aid/CPR
- Safety Care

Ability to assess behavioral needs of students and produce and evaluate appropriate intervention strategies

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
