Warehouse Software Administrator (WMS Dispatcher)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Software Administrator (aka WMS Dispatcher) to oversee our WMS workflow for our Houston based 3PL operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient order processes, and accuracy to meet operational goals. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen understanding of warehouse management systems, and the ability to implement effective solutions to enhance productivity. Knowledge of 3PL order process are key. i.e. processing customer cargo releases, inventory management, creating pick tickets, cargo releases, inbound receivers, pallet labels etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily order processing and receiving within our WMS system , including inventory control, order fulfillment, receivers, pick tickets, cargo releases and shipping/receiving processes.
• Work closely with our warehouse supervisor to maintain customer satisfaction with regard to speed and accuracy of inventory flow for over 50 customers.
• Help develop and implement strategies for improving warehouse efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy. Knowledge of cycle counts is key.
• Utilize IT systems to track inventory movements and manage data effectively.
• Attention to detail and direct customers interaction.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies regarding data management within the warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance solution architecture for warehouse management systems.

Pay: $36,500.00 - $51,500.00 per year
