Position Summary:
The Warehouse Administrator oversees the daily operations of the Warehouse to ensure consistency with quality and efficiency while providing stellar customer service. The Warehouse Administrator will be the steward of inventory investigations, data entry and organizational maintenance of all Warehouse data collection platforms.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and monitor Warehouse email communications to ensure request fulfillment
- Fulfill Hot Shot requests and Dock Sales per Company Policy and TABC state laws
- Complete invoicing of required paperwork and share paperwork with appropriate departments
- Perform warehouse transfer transactions and manage transfer documentation
- Coordinate and enter product add-ons to driver palms/phones
- Support inventory variance investigations and aid in the error verification process
- Perform data entry and collection for Operations Department
- Maintain files through daily and weekly consolidation of all data collection platforms used in Warehouse Operations
- Complete Daily Ops Spreadsheet, Receiving Logs, Shipping Logs, Out of Code, SL&B’s, etc.
- Transfer appointment data from Bud Net to Appointment Plus – AB loads
- Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships
- Post Company memos and communications in designated areas
- Load route trucks
- Retrieve sync and or stage loads while utilizing a riding pallet jack
- Count and log sales Out of Code
- Return daily breakers into inventory
- Audit daily build pallets
- Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent required
- Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment
- Previous forklift and pallet jack experience, a plus
- Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Intermediate skill level in Office 365
- Proficiency in basic mathematics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills with ability to pay attention to detail
- Must handle alcohol and work within T.A.B.C Guidelines
- A valid Texas Driver’s License, preferred
- Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements
The Physical Requirement:
- This job operates in a warehouse and an office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment
- Must be able to move/lift at least 30lbs
- Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack, dolly, and six-wheeler cart
- Continuous standing and walking during shift
- Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus)
- Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions including high and low temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snow
- Daylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditions
- Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes
- Work hours may vary daily due to business needs
