Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe work area that is clean and orderly.
- Follow instructions based on customer and company requirements.
- Disassemble coolers and vending machines using power, hand and air tools.
- Removal of parts for production or salvage.
- Removal of trash, rusted and broken parts.
- Cleaning compressor area.
- Use of a pallet jack to move equipment in and out of the department.
- Identifying and marking equipment for salvage and removing usable parts.
- Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
- Assist team in achieving facility and department goals.
- Strong knowledge of manual and electric tools, especially drills
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read, speak and write English and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Attention to detail.
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential job function.
- Ability to operate Company computer system.
- Follow direction of team leadership.
- Ability to use good judgement and problem solving skills.
- High School Graduate or GED, or any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities.
- Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, twisting, reaching, grasping, and making repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight.
- Operate assigned equipment and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
