Job Description

Cardinal is looking for a junior sales representative to actively seek out and engage customers and potential prospects in liquid and powder coatings as well as complementary products (Equipment-Sundries-Aerosols-Among others).

Responsibilities

  • Properly present, promote and sell Cardinal product offerings to existing and prospective customers in the region.
  • Perform cost-benefit evaluations, based on Cardinal products and services.
  • Establish, develop and maintain business and good customer relationships.
  • Reach potential customers through self-developed leads and cold calls.
  • Resolution of customer problems and complaints with the assistance of regional support managers and technical departments within Cardinal.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and or specific goals set for startup regions. To be determined.
  • Responsible for monthly pipeline, prospect accounts and status reports; As well as coordinate sales effort with regional manager, team members and any other departments within Cardinal Paint.
  • Track Sales, territory potential, market trends, weaknesses and opportunities.
  • Reports on customer requirements, problems, interests and competitors' activities.
  • Adhere to Cardinal policies and practices.
  • Work with sales manager and marketing department to develop a Cardinal sales strategy for the territory using available Cardinal products and services.

Requirements

  • Willingness to develop experience and success as a sales representative in the industry, though proper mentor ship from regional manager, technical support, training, sales schools, and or any other means Cardinal management deems appropriate.
  • Knowledge in MS Office, email and the disposition to work with and follow Cardinals reporting practices.
  • Ability and willingness to learn best practices in building business relationships and open new doors of opportunity.
  • Highly motivated, goal orientated, target driven, individual.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the willingness to learn selling tools, techniques and negotiation skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills are a must.
  • Planning the path for success, will require the willingness maintaining outlook calendars, pre authorizations on expenses, visualizing and work together with managers in order to deliver the desired outcome.
  • Will potentially be responsible for existing Cardinal relationships and their proper management.
