Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic vision for training programs.
- Curriculum Development: Oversee the creation of cutting-edge, compliant training curricula.
- Training Delivery: Lead a team of trainers to deliver high-quality programs.
- Performance Assessment: Measure and improve training effectiveness.
- Resource Management: Allocate budgets, equipment, and facilities efficiently.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure training activities meet legal and ethical standards.
- Partnership Building: Collaborate with external agencies and experts.
- Reporting: Maintain records and prepare reports for senior management.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on trends and innovations in law enforcement training.
- Prior experience as a law enforcement, military, or government services instructor
- NRA Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor Certified
- At least five years in a training environment
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or related field (master’s preferred)
- Proven track record in designing and delivering successful training programs
- Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards in law enforcement training
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation
- Proficiency with Microsoft products
- Diverse environments depending on situational demands
- Some travel required
- Must be able to carry a firearm safely
- Occasional lifting/moving of objects up to 50 pounds
- Master’s degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or related field
- PA State Police MPOETC Basic Instructor Development Certification
- School security experience and Act 67 Certification.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
