Cardinal Points Imaging of the Carolinas is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is a strong communicator to join an energetic, patient-focused team! Are you passionate about patient care? Do you love interacting with people? Come and join our team as a Medical Records Specialist for a full-time position, with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm at our outpatient Imaging center located in Raleigh, NC.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Business Office Supervisor, Medical Records Specialist:
- Is responsible for performing administrative and specialized support functions in an imaging setting.
- Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant office/business experience. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
EDUCATION:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Knowledge of radiology procedures.
