The Administrator is the most important position at Cardinal. The Administrator is responsible for all the residents, employees, and the day-to-day responsibilities in their community. The company philosophy is that each administrator is the CEO of their own building. We want our administrators to have freedom to run their own building and we do not believe in micromanaging our leaders. With that freedom comes a great deal of responsibility. We feel that administrators are capable of great things, and we support them as they put their signature on their building. Staring pay range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually. There are also quarterly bonus opportunities as well!
Administrator job duties include :
- Establishes policies pertaining to total resident care, personnel, financial status, public relations, maintenance, under directives from VP of Operations and CSM
- Explain policies to staff and other concerned parties
- Review compliance with established policies
- Responsible for policy and procedure manuals for all departments
- Review compliance of facility with national, state, and local standards
- Conduct in-service and supervisory training meetings
- Collaborate with department heads regarding operations and external relationships
- Regularly check financial status of facility and ensure we are adhering to budget
- Maintain liaison with community hospitals and other facilities in the community and coordinates with their services though working and transfer agreements
- Represent facility in dealings with outside agencies including governmental and third-party payers or ensure representation is sent
- Establish and maintain operation of the home
- Maintain strong personnel relations and employee morale
