Job Summary | The Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for servicing customer’s needs and inquires effective and efficiently regarding orders. You will work with our team to achieve daily production goals and provide superior quality and service to internal and external customers. Cardinal IG is a world-class glass fabricator that leads the nation in providing the highest quality insulating glass products for the residential window and door industry.
Essential Functions |

- Servicing customer needs and inquiries effectively and efficiently.
- Direct contact with customers/vendors; ability to provide a friendly and professional experience.
- Using the E1 software system to process and manage manual/electronic orders to produce and process accurate schedules.
- Ensuring all orders are accurate, including pricing, before advancing to schedule.
- Creating and plotting CAD files.
- Organizing and distributing schedules to appropriate departments.
- Support departments to help meet department and plant productivity goals.
- Communicating effectively with office personnel and production managers/leads to ensure efficient production flow.
- Willingness to seek out additional roles and responsibilities within your department
- Flexibility - may be required to work overtime to meet customer deadlines
Workplace Environment
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional prolonged periods of walking and bending within the facility.

Qualifications |
- A minimum of 2 year’s office experience; Prior office work experience in a manufacturing environment desired
- High School Equivalent or Related Work Experience
- Self-Motivated / Career-Minded / Punctual / Dependable
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Focus on customer relations and maintaining a high level of service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail
- Experience with a computerized order entry system preferred, proficiency in ten-key.
- Proven experience with Microsoft products

Pay: $19.50 Potential Monthly Profit Sharing
Work Location: On Site 1st Shift Monday -Friday 7:30PM to 4:00PM
