NATURE OF DUTIES
The Community Events Specialist is responsible for overseeing, coordinating and implementing a variety of events that focus on community outreach, CIS business partnerships, and referral market initiatives that focus on driving patient volume growth. The Community Events Specialist will work closely with the marketing team and CIS leaders to identify opportunities for health screenings, education, and outreach and execute community centered events. Essential to the job are strong organizational, analytical, financial, and written skills and the experience and ability to make independent decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversees and develops various events such as health screenings, educational seminars, and hospital partner events
- Researches opportunities in each market and works with clinic leaders and marketing team members to identify needs
- Coordinates physician outreach to referring physicians and plans events focused on driving growth in the referral market and building relationships
- Works with clinic practice administrators to coordinate in-clinic screenings
- Identifies opportunities with community and business groups to facilitate off-site screenings
- Maintain awareness of all community and regional events with the objective of gathering new ideas
- Maintains event implementation budgets
- Manages registration platform for relevant events
- Creates social media content to promote community events and works with PR specialist to drive media engagement
- Coordinates with graphic designers for promotional marketing materials for events and referral outreach
- Assists with other marketing and public relations duties as needed that support the marketing department
