POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Management Lead is responsible for supporting department leadership by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities. This role will provide training and development opportunities for the project management team to enhance their skills and knowledge. Collaboration with other departments and teams within the organization will be key to ensure alignment and coordination on project-related activities.

OBJECTIVES
Manages and delegates departmental requests to the team as they are receivedLeads team meetings and provides guidance for the department team in the absence of the Project Management leadershipCoaches and trains the team to create in-house project management training through process documentationPrepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, including project progress, key milestones achieved, risks, and issues.Establish an efficient task management system that promotes productivity and accountabilityCollaborate with senior management to align project goals with organizational objectives.Identify lessons learned and best practices from completed projects, incorporating them into future project management processes and methodologiesMonitor project progress and deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with project requirements for both own projects as well as team projectsCOMPETENCIES
Exceptional leadership abilities, with a demonstrated aptitude for managing and inspiring high-performing teams.Ability to influence others' opinions and decisions through persuasive communication to implement process solutions and gain support from team members.Strong organizational skills, enabling them to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively, track progress, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.Sound judgment and decision-making skills to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and resolve conflicts to keep projects on track.Makes informed and timely decisions, considering the team's input and the organization's goals, to drive projects forward.Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently.Inspire trust and instill a sense of direction, ensuring that project objectives are communicated clearly and achieved collaborativelyEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
