POSITION SUMMARY
The duties and responsibilities of an Event Manager center on planning and running events of varying sizes and purposes. They must understand what it takes to ensure event logistics are flawlessly executed, maintain costs within the allocated budget, and confirm that the event is carried out smoothly.
The Event Manager is required to network with a wide variety of entities including vendors, venues, and an entire staff in order for an event to function properly. They will carry out many tasks on their own, but an aspect of the job is working with a team and ensuring that everyone has what they need to do their job during the event. The Events Manager will also be responsible for keeping costs within the allocated budget, which requires a degree of financial skill.

OBJECTIVES
Coordinate both large and small scale events for Cardone Ventures that generate client flow into the businessContinuously seek new strategies and creative ideas to enhance the attendee experience and improve operational efficiency.Assign and manage responsibilities among Cardone Ventures team members to ensure all aspects of event execution are covered, fostering collaboration and accountability.Ensuring open communication, clear task assignments, and proactive problem-solving throughout the event lifecycle.Successful negotiation and management of vendor relationshipsEnsure all events stay within the allocated budget, maintaining detailed records of expenses and receipts for accurate reporting.Proactively identify and resolve any potential challenges or issues that may arise during event planning or execution to ensure smooth operations.Maintain communication with all guests by providing accurate and detailed information regarding upcoming eventsAccurately document decisions, follow up on key actions, and produce post-event reports with lessons learned and actionable insights for improvement.Oversee the accuracy and up-to-date content on the Cardone Ventures event landing page, ensuring that all upcoming events are clearly communicated and updated.Assist with lodging / flight questions for team members’ travel to eventsCOMPETENCIES
Ability to plan, organize and monitor several events occurring within a short time frameUnderstanding of financial concepts in order to understand and adhere to event budgetsExpertise in event management software, 10X app registration systems, and virtual event platforms to streamline planning and execution processes.Familiarity with relevant legal and compliance requirements, including safety protocols, permits, and contracts, to ensure events meet all regulations.Expertise in measuring client satisfaction using surveys and feedback tools, analyzing results to inform future event strategies.Demonstrate attention to detail in creating event trackers and developing expense reportsSkilled in coordinating both in-person and virtual events, ensuring seamless integration of technology, audience engagement, and logistical efficiency.Proficient in researching and negotiating competitive quotes from vendors, food and beverage suppliers, and service providers, ensuring timely and budget-conscious decisions.Possess a level of technical acumen to work with the AV team to ensure the efficiency of virtual eventsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years’ Event Management experienceDegree in Hospitality Management or relevant field is preferred10X TOTAL REWARDS
