Cards for Hospitalized Kids (CFHK) is a national nonprofit organization that distributes handmade cards to Children's Hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses nationwide. Since 2011, CFHK has delivered over 500,000 cards to bring hope, joy, and magic to hospitalized children. Supporters from all backgrounds contribute their time and creativity to create uplifting cards for distribution. Individuals and groups from any location can participate in this meaningful cause.
Role Description
This is an internship role for an Operations Intern at Cards for Hospitalized Kids at the CFHK office where donations cards arrive from all over the US and abroad.The Operations Intern will be involved in day-to-day tasks related to processing donations, donor letters and engagement, processing and preparing hospital distributions for across the country, student service verification protocols from across the country and project management. This is an on-site role located in Chicago, IL.

- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute
- Previous experience in a nonprofit organization is a plus
- ability to commute to and from the CFHK office on a weekly basis
This is an unpaid internship. That being said, CFHK has over a decade of experience leaving and mentoring in terms from a variety of majors.
