Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Utilize retail math skills to help customers understand product pricing and promotions.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions and handling cash.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
- Supervise junior staff or new associates as needed, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing to customers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and customer feedback.
Skills
- Proficient in retail math for effective pricing and sales calculations.
- Strong supervisory skills to lead and mentor team members.
- Excellent upselling abilities to maximize sales opportunities.
