Job Summary :

The Outreach & Engagement Manager leads community outreach and engagement initiatives to advance CAHC’s mission of expanding healthcare access for underserved populations. This role is responsible for developing partnerships, implementing outreach strategies, coordinating community engagement programs, and supervising a team of Community Engagement Coordinators (CECs). The manager will drive data-informed outreach efforts, address barriers to care, and oversee public-facing events to attract new patients and strengthen CAHC’s presence in the community.

This position requires strategic leadership, cultural competency, and the ability to foster collaboration between CAHC, community organizations, and local stakeholders. The ideal candidate is an experienced outreach professional who understands the social determinants of health, healthcare disparities, and best practices in community engagement.

Strategic Outreach & Partnerships :

  • Develop and implement strategic outreach initiatives to increase healthcare access for underserved and diverse populations.
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, faith-based groups, and local leaders to advance CAHC’s mission.
  • Oversee grassroots and digital outreach efforts to promote CAHC services and increase patient engagement.
  • Identify and address barriers to healthcare access by working with internal teams and external partners.

Community Engagement :

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee community health events, workshops, and public initiatives that educate and connect residents to CAHC services.
  • Represent CAHC at public meetings, health fairs, and advocacy events to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure culturally competent engagement strategies tailored to diverse patient populations, including racial, ethnic, and linguistically diverse communities.
  • Program Management & Evaluation

  • Track and evaluate outreach and engagement activities using data-driven metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collect, analyze, and report community engagement data, patient referral patterns, and outreach impact to CAHC leadership.
  • Utilize CRM systems and outreach tracking tools to monitor engagement effectiveness and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Team Leadership & Staff Development

  • Supervise, mentor, and provide professional development opportunities for Community Engagement Coordinators (CECs).
  • Ensure that outreach efforts are aligned with CAHC’s priorities and effectively executed by the engagement team.
  • Support a collaborative and inclusive work environment that fosters professional growth and continuous improvement.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in outreach, program coordination, or community engagement, with supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and project management skills.
  • Expertise in developing culturally appropriate outreach strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to attend evening and weekend events as needed.
