Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the partnership between Care and Share and agency partners. This includes ensuring Care and Share and agency partners are upholding the terms of the annual agency agreement. Acts as the point of contact for agency partners.
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. The ideal candidate will reside in one of the following counties: Delores, Montezuma, La Plata, San Juan, Hinsdale, Mineral, Archuleta, Rio Grande, Conejos, Saguache, Gunnison, Chaffee, Costilla, Huerfano, Fremont, Alamosa, Las Animas, or Baca. A fully remote option is available for Colorado residents living farther than 45 miles from Alamosa, CO. Those residing within 45 miles of Alamosa will be required to work at least two days per week at Care and Share's Alamosa Distribution Center located at 5858 Produce Pl, Alamosa, CO 81101.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service and responds to agency issues and requests. Coordinates solutions, food flow, and logistics internally and externally. Acts as the liaison between all agencies in the designated service area and Care and Share. Communicates agency feedback as appropriate.
- Assists the Programs Director with Onboarding and Training new Regional Managers. Collaborates with and supports other Regional Managers to promote an innovative team environment.
- Ensures partner agencies uphold USDA, Feeding America, Care and Share compliance standards and strategic goals. Performs biannual site monitors. Makes suggestions to agencies for best practices and capacity building. Assists partner agencies with timely report submissions and record keeping.
- Maintains communication channels between Care and Share and agency partners.
- Supports the Development team with grant reports, tracking, and budgets.
- Collaborates with the Procurement team to ensure the smooth operation of the agency-empowered retail program. Collects agency food preferences to inform future procurement.
- Maintains and updates partner agency information in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Communicates agency hour/location/service changes to the Marketing and Communications team to ensure the Find Food tool is accurate.
- Collaborates with the Programs Director to develop a data-informed partner agency recruitment strategy to increase equity and access. Provides new agency partners with a complete toolkit to ensure maximum access to Care and Share services and overall success.
- Maintains extensive knowledge of community resources and Care and Share's programs and services. Makes recommendations to meet the individual needs of new and existing agency partners. Represents Care and Share as food system players within community groups and movements. Responds to community disaster needs.
- Assists the Program Director in promoting innovative solutions and programming to expand and enhance our services. Participates in practice sharing within the Feeding America network.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Intermediate with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Teams, Forms).

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- At least two years of customer service experience.
- Non-profit, food distribution, and/or project management experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer mixed with periods of time standing, lifting, traveling, and walking.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
Travel Requirements:
- Must have valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance that meets Colorado’s minimum standards.
- Extensive travel throughout Southern Colorado is required. This position will serve the Rocky Mountains Region, which includes the following counties: Delores, Montezuma, La Plata, San Juan, Hinsdale, Mineral, Archuleta, Rio Grande, Conejos, Saguache, Gunnison, Chaffee, Costilla, Huerfano, Fremont, Alamosa, Las Animas, and Baca.
