Job Description
We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. As a CNA, you will provide individualized care to clients in their homes, focusing on personal care, medication reminders, housekeeping, companionship, and transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, mobility, toileting, and incontinence care
- Medication Reminders
- Housekeeping: Laundry, changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, dishwashing, and meal planning and preparation
- Companionship: Accompanying clients to appointments, outings, and social events, engaging clients in activities and conversations
- Transportation as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing home or caregiver experience (transfer experience a plus)
- Active CNA license registered in CT
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working in homes with animals
- Ability to pass a national background check and be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
