Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Full-Time Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily schedules of our caregivers and ensuring that all shifts are filled in a timely and efficient manner. This role is crucial to maintaining the high standard of care we provide to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule shifts for caregivers based on client needs and caregiver availability.
- Communicate effectively with caregivers, clients, and their families regarding scheduling changes or updates.
- Handle emergency scheduling situations and provide solutions to ensure continuous care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of caregiver schedules and client care plans.
- Assist in onboarding new caregivers and providing them with initial schedule orientation.
- Collaborate with the care management team to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Address any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise and find suitable resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations regarding caregiver work hours and scheduling.
- Be on call.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in healthcare or business administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in scheduling, preferably in the healthcare or home care industry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
- Proficient in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in helping seniors.
