Valley Community Services Board (VCSB) is looking for a Scheduling Specialist to join our Medical Services team! The Scheduling Specialist works with clients and providers to facilitate access to VCSB services.

Summary of Essential Functions
- Schedules clients for appointments with Medical Services providers or to complete lab work.
- Coordinates with other provider organizations such as hospitals, jails, or rehabilitation facilities to schedule appoints for clients prior to release or discharge.
- Maintains a list of psychiatric referrals, including the client name, contact information, and whether the appointment was kept.
- Maintains open communication between VCSB departments to help clients effectively access all relevant services.
- Provides backup support for the Medical Services Care Coordinator as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, equivalent.
- Previous work experience involving electronic records databases and data entry.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in customer service/scheduling and de-escalation in a medical office or similar setting.
