Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) specializing in Chronic Pain Management to join our healthcare team. The ARNP will work closely with patients suffering from chronic pain conditions to provide comprehensive care and management strategies to improve quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct in-depth assessments of patients to accurately diagnose chronic pain conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
2. Educate patients on pain management techniques, medications, and alternative therapies.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment.
4. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize pain relief and functionality.
5. Provide supportive care and counseling to patients and their families to enhance understanding and coping skills.
6. Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in electronic health records in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
7. Stay informed on latest research, best practices, and trends in chronic pain management to enhance patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with specialization in Adult-Gerontology or Pain Management.
2. Current Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice.
3. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with specialization in Chronic Pain Management (ACNP-CP or equivalent).
4. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical practice with a focus on chronic pain management.
5. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
6. Proficiency in electronic health records and computer skills.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
