Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood from patients for medical testing, transfusions, donations, or research. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture, finger sticks, or heel sticks
- Label and store blood samples for processing
- Follow established procedures for patient identification and sample collection
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Assist with other tasks as needed in the laboratory setting
- Comply with all safety and infection control policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a phlebotomy training program or certification in phlebotomy
- 1 years of experience as a Phlebotomist preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
