As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Care Options for Kids, you will have the opportunity to work in a home environment, providing one-to-one nursing care to children who require specialized attention. You will work closely with a registered nurse and follow a customized plan of care to ensure the best possible outcomes for your clients.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for providing personalized care to children with complex medical needs, including tracheostomy and gastrostomy tube care, medication administration, and wound management. You will also be required to document patient information accurately and efficiently using our electronic documentation system.
Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey LPN License or Multistate License
- Physical within three years
- PPD or Chest X-Ray
- Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person not online)
- Valid driver's license
- G-tube, trach, vent experience or willingness to train
