Clinical Manager, RN (Full-Time)

This position provides the overall planning, direction, coordination, management, and supervision of all clinical services (nursing, social services, and spiritual care) in accordance with State and Federal regulations and the organizations objectives and policies. Working with Medical Director(s), attending physicians, and Clinical Staff, assures quality care and fiscal responsibility by reviewing and assessing each service. Additionally, the Clinical Manager is able to perform all functions of the Registered Nurse in planning, coordinating, providing and documenting care for terminally ill patients from day of admission through day of discharge and may do so when necessary.
RN Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon.
- Bachelors degree in nursing, masters degree in nursing, or related field preferred.
- Requires a minimum of five years of nursing experience in a health care related field (hospice or home health preferred).
- Requires a minimum of three years of progressive management and/or leadership experience.
- Demonstrated skills in administrative/management performance including expertise in written and oral communication, training/coordination/supervision of staff, and effective and efficient time management.
- Demonstrated computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs. Ability to obtain proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR). Ability to train staff on all computer programs required for position(s).
- Comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
- Must have a valid drivers license, valid auto insurance, acceptable driving record and have access to a reliable automobile to travel to and from patient homes.
- Current BCLS certification.
*Preferred applicant will be required to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen, following an offer of employment.
**New employees are required to complete tuberculosis screening and provide proof of Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination.
