Intake Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the initial stages of client interactions, ensuring that all pertinent information is accurately captured and processed. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Intake Specialist will be responsible for handling and assisting clients with their inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial client interviews to gather relevant information for case assessments.
• Work with County Case Managers and Insurance Care Coordinators to obtain necessary documents.
• Verify client insurance.
• Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy to maintain up-to-date client records.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with legal standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home health care client intake role or as a paralegal is preferred.
• Proficiency in document management systems and data entry processes.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and client service.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
