Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of security solutions projects, primarily focused on CCTV surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record in managing end-to-end projects in the security solutions industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of security system projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and commissioning of CCTV systems, access control, and other related technologies.
- Coordinate with field technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety guidelines, and client-specific requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or changes in scope.
- Perform site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and present project documentation, including Statements of Work (SOW), progress reports, and final project summaries.
- Ensure team members are trained and equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to execute projects efficiently.
- Stay updated on advancements in security solutions and integrate new technologies into projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3 years of project management experience in the security solutions industry, preferably with CCTV systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, access control, and low-voltage cabling.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as NDAA compliance, UL certifications, and local safety requirements.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or similar software).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
