Gentle Care Strategies Nursing Home is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Activities Assistant to join our team. As the Master of FUN, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of engaging activities for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize daily activities for residents, including games, crafts, and outings
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of activities
- Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities
- Document resident participation and progress
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and supportive environment for residents
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a nursing home or similar environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion for working with seniors and creating a fun and engaging environment
