Position: Dietary Cook Full Time
Location: Vincennes, IN, 47591
Job Summary:
Gentle Care Strategies is seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team on a full-time basis. The Dietary Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and restrictions. Expected shifts include 5:30am-1:30pm and 11:30am-7:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu and dietary requirements
- Ensure meals are served at appropriate temperatures and in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Dietary Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
