The Clinical Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of a behavioral care facility in Delaware County, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have an Associates, Bachelor, or Master's of Registered Nursing experience working in a nursing home or behavioral care facility. The Clinical Director of Nursing will be responsible for managing a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care and treatment. The Clinical Director of Nursing will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong commitment to patient care.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Must possess a valid and current RN license in this state.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, governmental agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Must be a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of age.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
- Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
- Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
