Job Description:
Care Strategies is seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN to join our team at our 42 bed Long Term Care facility in Muncie, IN. As a Behavioral Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care to our cognitive impaired residents. You will also have the opportunity to grow your career with us and gain valuable psychology experience.
As a Licensed Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing and evaluating the health status of our residents
- Developing and implementing care plans
- Administering medications and treatments
- Monitoring and documenting resident progress
- Communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Supervising and directing the work of nursing assistants
- Providing emotional support to residents and their families
- Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in the state of Indiana
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long Term Care
- Behavioral Care Specialist certification preferred
- Leadership skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
