Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Care Aides for a client in Vandercook Lake, MI. The following hours are available:
Monday through Friday 8am-3pm, Saturday 9am-2pm
As a Home Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients with their daily activities and providing essential support to help them maintain independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Help with mobility and transfers, as needed.
- Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication management.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up.
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or care coordinator.
As a home health aide, your responsibilities typically revolve around providing personal care and assistance to clients who may need help with daily activities due to illness, disability, or aging. Here are common tasks and responsibilities:

- Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.
10. **Safety and Emergency Preparedness:**
- Ensuring a safe environment for the client by identifying potential hazards.
- Knowing emergency procedures and responding appropriately in crisis situations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
