Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist a client with various daily activities in Sawyer, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and running errands. This position requires a strong commitment to punctuality, consistency, and clear communication with the client’s family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the client with bathing, hygiene, toileting, and other personal care tasks.
- Provide mobility support, including transferring and walking assistance.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
- Run errands as needed, including grocery shopping and other tasks.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the family to ensure the client’s needs are met.
- Adhere to the specified shift timing and ensure punctuality at all times.
Shift Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:30 am – 2:30 pm
Requirements:
- Prior experience in caregiving or personal care support required.
- Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and personal care tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive relationship with the family.
- Strong reliability and punctuality. Late arrivals may result in the caregiver being sent back.
- Must be able to work independently and follow instructions.
- No pets in the home, but must be comfortable with the client’s environment.
