Job Description:
We are urgently seeking dedicated, compassionate, and dependable Caregivers to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. If you're passionate about helping others and providing high-quality care, we want you! As a caregiver, you’ll support seniors and individuals with disabilities, helping them live independently and safely in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to client dietary needs.
- Light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Monitor and report on clients’ physical and emotional well-being.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
- Assist with medication reminders and management as prescribed.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, grocery stores, and other outings.
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiver or home health aide experience is required.
- Must be compassionate, reliable, and have a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, transferring, and supporting clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Background check and drug screening required.
