Overnight Caregiver – 12-Hour Shifts (Shelton, CT)
Location: Shelton, Connecticut
Schedule: 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM)
About the Position:
We are seeking reliable, alert, and compassionate caregivers to join our team for overnight 12-hour shifts in Shelton, CT. This is a non-medical home care position providing supervision and support for clients who require overnight assistance.
Requirements:
- Must be able to stay awake and alert for the full 12-hour shift
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to client safety
- Previous caregiving or overnight experience preferred
- Must have a reliable means of transportation
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Clear background check required
- Ability to follow care plans and document client updates accurately
Duties Include:
- Providing companionship and monitoring during the night
- Assisting with toileting or mobility as needed
- Ensuring the client remains safe and comfortable throughout the night
- Promptly responding to any client needs during the shift
