We are seeking certified home health aides and personal care assistants to provide exceptional care to our clients in the Queens area.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
