Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiving Professional to provide exceptional care to our clients in their homes. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
Qualifications:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and importance of patient confidentiality
- Able to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
