Certified Home Health Aide
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Home Health Aide to provide exceptional care to our clients in their homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering personalized support and assistance to individuals with varying needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring the comfort and dignity of patients.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, promoting safety and independence for patients.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
- Monitor vital signs and communicate changes or concerns to medical personnel, ensuring prompt attention to patient needs.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, fostering a positive and comforting environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe living space, adhering to infection control guidelines and promoting a healthy environment.
Requirements:
- Must be a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of South Carolina.
- Possess reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at patient locations.
- Able to work a minimum of 12 hours per week and every other weekend, adapting to scheduling demands.
- Eligible to work in the United States, possessing necessary documentation.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Ability to prepare simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed, supporting patients' daily needs.
- Demonstrated literacy and arithmetic skills, enabling effective communication and record-keeping.
- At least 18 years old, meeting age requirements.
